Lina Halloweena Returns!

Lina Halloweena, our annual neighborhood Halloween party, returns to Lina Avenue on Saturday, October 24. Mark your calendars!

This event is for Bayport neighbors and their special guests.

Costume parade and trick-or-treating begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by hot tacos made fresh onsite, pizza, a kids’ Halloween movie, Mister Softee ice cream truck (sponsored by our friends at the Andrea Ruport Group), karaoke, and more.

This year’s party is being organized by us, the Lina Social Club, an independent group of Bayport neighbors committed to keeping this neighborhood tradition going.

We need neighbors to pitch in. Lina Halloweena is entirely organized and run by neighborhood volunteers, and it takes more than a few families to make it happen. If you can spare even 30–60 minutes before, during, or after the party, please indicate that when you RSVP. We’ll follow up with simple assignments closer to the event.

Schedule of Events:

• 4:00 pm: Set Up – please sign up during RSVP!

• 5:00 pm: Costume Parade and group photo.

• 5:15 pm: Trick-or-Treating (During RSVP, let us know if you have trick or treaters and sign up to be a candy house!)

• 5:45 pm: Kids' dance contest.

• 6:00 pm: Tacos and Pizza – taco options include chicken, steak, pork and vegetarian soy chorizo. There will also be cheese and pepperoni pizzas. BYOB!

• 6:30 pm: Kids' Halloween movie night – movie option will be age-appropriate.

• 8:00 pm: Karaoke – We’ll provide the karaoke machine, speakers, and screen. You provide the vocals and enthusiasm.

• 8:00 pm: Mister Softee ice cream truck.

• 9:00 pm: Adult team dance contest. Remember: people have phones.

• 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm: Clean-Up – sign up at RSVP to help!

• 10:30 pm: More Karaoke, maybe poker.
